Sam & Tom have almost 10 years experience in the internet business. Sam is chief marketing manager at the family owned insurance brokerage, working with Twitter and Facebook on a daily basis. Tom is a highly trained IT technician in an IT support company, with vast experience designing and supporting commercial businesses and their websites from the beginning right through to the finished item.
Tom & Sam came up with this business idea when looking at the current market, and realised quite how much over the top customers were being charged for a simple website and e-mail addresses. Sam & Tom therefore decided to start a different approach. They would charge customers the cost of the domain name, plus the time it takes to produce and maintain the website as needed. Thereby, hopefully, making it possible for everyone to have a reasonable chance to market and grow their businesses in the direction they choose without massive domain/website related overheads.
