I was able to find a recovery excel file that only had about the last 10-15 minutes of work missing. It was not as catastrophic an event as I thought....I thought I had lost the whole morning's work (same issue for Kayla). She also found a recovery excel file with minimal data loss. Please extend my apologies to the Bulletproof triage person who took my call...I suspect I sounded a bit frustrated. Thanks to the BP team for their quick responses. One comment regarding Jomer's response back...he/she was correct that MS Excel did not prompt me that there was a recovery file, however, I was able to find the recovery file by opening up the excel app and looking for a recovery pane which it did have with a recovery file listed there. This saved me from repeating a morning of work. As a suggestion to BP, this would be good advice to give since MS Office does not always prompt that it has a recovery file. Thanks
