Christian is fantastic! He has a natural flow with his customer, and a warm temperament. I appreciated the lack of mansplaining (often an issue on the phone with IT), and that his use of jargon was targeted to his audience. At one point there was an opportunity given for me to perform a task while on the session, and when I did not immediately find the preference I again appreciated that Christian gave the extra moment and assisted in walking through the few steps with me. This was super simple, but that small bit of patience and coordination was huge: most prior experiences have the IT person immediately take back over and fix the preference themselves with no hands-on learning opportunity. While that is the expedient route, it sometimes could have had the additional customer service which I received today. This is sometimes the desired impact in the moment and must be gauged. I am 35. I previously worked in IT for years prior to my past few jobs, from 12 years old through 25 (and we have a family IT business). I have held numerous customer service positions observing successes and failures and also grew up observing many of these same styles of interactions. I am by NO means an expert, but i also don't throw rave reviews around. Some people stand out. Christian: thank you for being an aware human being, who communicates well/effectively and who respects others. Thank you for caring to provide excellent service and do your job well. This is a rarity, from what I have observed. Please thank your parents as well, as this is a joint effort which typically starts during childhood. Iconic has a great one who deserves recognition and advancement.
